As of July 1st, the church is being shepherded by Rev. Kun Chon Lee (Pastor KC). Pastor KC comes to New Castle from a Dagsboro Methodist Church. Welcome Pastor KC when you greet him and his family.

Grief Support Group
Are you feeling down? Are you depressed? Are you in need of someone to talk to? Anyone who needs support going through grief and beyond, can call Georgianna Miller, 302 328-5649, extension 315, to schedule an appointment.
Save Those Pop Top Tabs
Our Church is collecting aluminum can pop-tops for the Ronald McDonald House. Throughout the year you have access to beverage cans and you can recycle those tabs. Before you recycle the cans, pull off the tabs and save them. Bring them to church where you can deposit them into our Collection containers. Thank you for supporting our Church and Ronald McDonald House.

Food Closet Needs
Our Food Closet is in need of the following:

Can Entrees (Stew or Chili)
Lenten Soup Suppers
During the Lenten season, the New Castle Churches have united in hosting a Lenten Soup Supper. Each week a different church will host the supper of soup and salad and present a message starting at 6 PM. All are welcome. Here is the schedule:
March 19th - Hope Lutheran Church, 230 Christiana Rd.
March 26th - NCUMC, 510 Delaware St.
April 2nd - St Peter the Apostle Church, 515 Harmony St.
April 9th - Immanuel Episcopal Church, The Strand and Harmony St
Warm Clothing Collection
The Outreach Committee is collecting cold weather items for the needy. The items are hats, gloves, scarves, warm socks, sweatshirts, and sweatpants. The items are for men, women, and children. Olease place any donations on the table in the Fellowship Hall. Thank you.
A Grief Support Group meets on Mondays from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Asbury United Methodist Church, 300 Basin Road, New Castle, DE
Lenten Bible Study
Pastor KC is holding a Lenten Bible Study on the Tuesdays during Lent. The class will meet in the Lounge or Fellowship Hall (depending on class size) at 11:00 am. The subject is the Last 24 hours of Christ's Life. All are welcome to join. A textbook is available for an additional cost.
